Why is there wasted water? When the ice melts, the water should cycle back to the top so why is this waste water??

How long will ice stay frozen in bin when full?
The ice making function of the product is mainly reflected in the ice making not ice storage. In fact, it cannot store ice. It can stay cold during the ice making process, so the ice will not melt, but after stopping the ice making, it is best to transfer the ice to the refrigerator to prevent it from melting.
